While I can appreciate the day after Valentine’s day (discounted chocolate), I’ve never been a fan of February. It’s just so short!

Designer Showcase’s February round is still alive and well. Have you had a chance to pop on over? Glitter’s Lord Mesh is a partial mesh ensemble. My avi is one of those super tall avatars*, so it may just be me, but the alpha took away my tummy. I’m half machine, so it kind of works 😉

Just a minute

You know how some people say “in a New York minute?” I would never make it. Lately, I run on two speeds and that’s slow and stop. Case in point, Sascha’s New York ensemble is new, but not as new as it was since I got it. The mesh jacket comes in two version: one has a fur collar and the other does not. Also, New York has a nice set of system pants to go with it, but I paired the jacket with another one of Sascha’s pieces (Iggy pants) because I love their textures together.

I can’t wait for 2014! I always get soooo excited about the new year because I think out with the old and in with the new. Course, a few days after the new year, I get awfully moody because I tend to break my new year’s resolutions by January 2nd.

What are your plans for the new year? Celebrate it in style with PurpleMoon, this year’s Avi’s Choice for favorite female fashion designer. A little bit of sparkle goes a long way, and PurpleMoon’s Dresha top comes with quite a few sequin tones via the color change hud.

Finally settled into my new home…and it still doesn’t feel like home. Perhaps it’s the time of year? I guess we all have to grow up someday. I’d visit Las Vegas once in awhile, but to actually live here is surreal. Slot machines everywhere! I’ve had a few friends say to go down to the strip and celebrate Las Vegas style.

I’m actually looking forward to dressing up in real life, but, in SL, Prism Designs‘ Anastacia dress and matching mesh hat in Black Sequin is the perfect New Year’s Eve party dress. It’s a mesh body and a flexi skirt, so it has plenty of movement.

I added an additional pop of red with Zuri Rayna’s Norena Star earrings and necklace set.

land of enchantment

I do believe I’m having a quarter life crisis, so what does anyone do in my case? We put on a pretty gown and crown and wish ourselves away to fantasy. Reality is rough!

I’ve been packing all this week to relocate. I’m not shy about where I come from. I was born and raised in Albuquerque, and now I’m on my way to Las Vegas, Nevada. The city of sin… “Until you travel to that place you can’t come back
