Trompe Loeil – Wall Stars (December 2014 Arcade Item)
Fun fact. Halloween is the eve before All Saints’ Day. After All Saints’ Day, we have All Souls’ Day. I love that idea.
I thought PurpleMoon’s group gift was a timely reminder to love those we lost by celebrating their lives. We cannot get them back, but hold onto the love.
Yes, it has been one of those days. That is all. 🙂
Okay, I can’t really trade my first or second life for fortune and fame (both combined are not worth that much), but there are some aspects of both that I would love to give away. As for Second Life, I don’t like mass teleports or intrusive hellos from male avatars. Is that super mean?
As for real life, I could totally give away my mood swings. I would have to give that away because it would be an awful trade!
Second Life is a sanctuary to me, and not necessarily in the religious or spiritual sense. It’s my time to get away from real life and dress up my virtual Barbie doll.
The last time I wore a gown in real life was my senior prom, so I’ve led myself to believe I’m a jeans and flip flop girl, but I never really had the opportunity to dress up. If I did (and I was at least 5 inches taller), I would totally wear a dress like PurpleMoon’s Miss Scarlett. Miss Scarlett is available in 8 colors, and I’m in love with this shade of blue.
Incidentally, the sale ends today, but Miss Scarlett in Gold is half off! Regardless of what color you choose, Lazuri’s Marzia complements Miss Scarlett perfectly. The combination reminds me of old Hollywood glamour. I was never there in body, but certainly in spirit. Hollywood is the ultimate in fame and fortune right?

Pink Shirt Day started on February 26. Have you raised your voice? I don’t know about you, but I was semi bullied by my next door neighbor when I was 7-12 years old. Luckily, she didn’t torment me as maliciously as some kids do nowadays, but she was definitely intimidating because she would walk behind me, with her friend, and make all kinds of remarks.
Picture this. In real life, I’m super short, and I’ve worn glasses since I was five year old. I was like a walking cliche of the perfect kid to pick on. Luckily, and it’s a strange lucky, my family didn’t have a home computer until I was in high school. Because now social media allows teens to target and bully from afar, and with that convenience comes double the impact to cause harm.
If you want to show your support against bullying, stop by PurpleMoon and make a donation in exchange for a shirt.
Net proceeds from Pink Shirt Day activities and t-shirt sales benefit the CKNW Orphans’ Fund in support of Boys & Girls Clubs Anti-Bullying programs. All transactions will be published at http://purplemooncreations.blogspot.com/p/pink-shirt-day-2014.html.
A minimum donation of 10L is required, but higher amounts are definitely appreciated.

I can’t wait for 2014! I always get soooo excited about the new year because I think out with the old and in with the new. Course, a few days after the new year, I get awfully moody because I tend to break my new year’s resolutions by January 2nd.
What are your plans for the new year? Celebrate it in style with PurpleMoon, this year’s Avi’s Choice for favorite female fashion designer. A little bit of sparkle goes a long way, and PurpleMoon’s Dresha top comes with quite a few sequin tones via the color change hud.
In fact, the Dresha blazer and pants are color or pattern changeable using huds too. Okay, over and out. It’s my first Las Vegas New Year’s celebration, so I’m going to ring in the new year under the fireworks. See you in 2014!
Have a safe and happy new year’s celebration!

PurpleMoon’s Meadow Maxi dress is stylish, boho chic, and versatile all rolled into one. If you love to wear a certain silhouette, but you yearn for color or pattern changes, Meadow Maxi allows you to do that with just one click.
All you do is wear the hud (and the dress at the same time of course!), and click on the pattern you want to wear that day. Boom! It’s an instant outfit change.
It’s very cool. I love it when outfits come with a hud such as this because it doesn’t take up as much space in our inventories. Yay for SL technology!
Don’t forget that you must buy the initial dress in order for this to work. While the hud I’m showing has all the patterns available, you can also choose specific huds if you only fancied the striped, floral, or circle print. Click here for your lift to PurpleMoon and happy shopping!

PurpleMoon celebrates 20,000 group members with a vibrant spring time gown Aquarelle. The turquoise gown has pops of bright colors splashed throughout, just like a watercolor, and floral embellishments for the hair and chest. It has an amazing swish too.
What’s a swish? A swish is the sound a gown makes as you stroll into a room. It flutters and flounces and gives admirers a glimpse of silky legs. You love it. I promise! You’ll also love that it’s free to VIP group members! Head on down to PurpleMoon and grab your VIP gift. Click here for your ride.
