Moving to Washington wasn’t a choice, it was a neccessity. I felt like I was suffucating in the Albuquerque dust, wanting something but knowing I’d never get it. So, I ran, and it rained for two full weeks. I drove to a waterfront as soon as the clouds cleared, and I sat. I thought I would feel free, but I was drowning in lost dreams. Clear blue water did not cure my sadness, so I had to pull something from deep within me and fix myself. Escape was not the answer because it was only the beginning.

My Chemical Romance (MCR) is one of my longtime favorite bands. I fashioned Sascha’s Designs “Gamay” to resemble the chick in the “I don’t love you” video. Her lover was cased in black. This is my interpretation of her outfit.

Pink Forever

While we can wear pink all year, there is nothing like pink in spring. It’s the freshest color that I know of and it has an essence of innocence. Doesn’t that remind you of the beginning of spring? The blooms of spring may have to withstand a last minute frost. Can they survive? =(

January is the month for looking forward, but it’s also the best month to reflect. It’s Designer Showcase’s 15 year anniversary, and I can’t believe it. I have so many fond memories as a blogger.
