My summer’s been flying by! I really wanted to post about this earlier because I love contests. I’ve been on a Taylor Swift kick lately. I never thought I would write that! Swift’s actually a brilliant lyricist. I had no idea! Sorry, Tiffany Celestials as you told me about her some time ago lol.
Whenever I blog, I listen to songs that go along with what I’m wearing. Sometimes, well…most of the time, I listen to that one song on repeat. The song of the day is “Style” because I’m seriously in love with my husband. Granted we aren’t off and on like the song, but we love certain ideas (okay fine…I do have a “good girl faith”) when it comes to the other, so our coupling will never go out of style.

Oh, I love fantasy fashion in Second Life. In fact, I walked around in Second Life today, while wearing PurpleMoon‘s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream Corset” and an avatar complimented my look! It threw me for a loop. Personally, it’s the total opposite of getting caught shopping in real life because I never look this good in real life. 😉
I think I’m getting used to Las Vegas summers because at 102 degrees F, it’s a fine day for sitting by the pool. It’s much too hot when it’s over 110. Those days require sitting in the pool!

Sascha Frangilli knows romance, so I thought her gown Issy was particularly symbolic for today’s post. It’s my 18th-day wedding anniversary! No, I don’t go that far, but real life marriage rocks! My husband and I had been friends before we dated, and I don’t know if that makes the difference, but it does imply my former relationships’ foundations were rocky.
In fact, I imagine many of our former friends believed we wouldn’t last because quite a few probably thought I was crazy. But hey, when a boyfriend thrives on chaos, it’s best to just play along. It’s nice to know those days are over.
My new husband thrives on love, teamwork, friendship, and laughter. It doesn’t get any better, so I’ve officially retired my “crazy” card. This post may read as sickeningly sweet, but that’s only because it is sickeningly sweet. 😉

Second Life is 12 years old! Can you believe it? While the celebratory events are over, the sims are open until July 4. There are some beautiful exhibits and the stages are always particularly fun to explore. What secret crooks and crannies will you find?
I found a raptor. Much like Jurassic World, this raptor appears to have socialization skills and subsequently is trainable lol. I really did enjoy movie. It’s good campy fun, but the Party Raptor was a limited edition gift! I found it at the celebration while roaming around last week, but you can always try Marketplace!
Now, while all good things must come to an end, others will take their place. Designer Showcase‘s, a monthly fashion event, July Round is open. Spend your Friday shopping and exploring!
