Mixing and Meshing

I thought I had only been involved in SL for roughly 3 years, but I double checked my profile (bad memory), and I rezzed in 2009! Second Life is turning 11 this year, and in my 5 years alone, there has been a surge in avatar technology. For instance, fitted mesh adjusts to your figure, so you don’t have to standardize your shape. It’s actually kinda cool to pop on fitted mesh and go crazy with the shape sliders. Can you imagine that in RL? I could throw out my fat and skinny day pants. 😉

Fashion has always been fun and I happen to love mesh, but I really love mesh when I can mix and mesh. Style by Danielle’s Moira Fitted Vest comes in seven shades and makes mixing and meshing easy.

Have you gone to LIV Glam lately? Samantha Jones has been hard at work creating intricate textures for her designs. While I love pops of color, I also like to dress in neutrals. Inner Animal

Certain clothes can bring out the animal in us! Especially when they have animal prints;) Yeah not my most clever statement lol, but Chandelle added the cutest dress to Acid Lily’s recent showcase collection. The giraffe print is really well done, and the texture itself looks so soft and has a subtle fuzzy feel. It’s available for a promo price of 70L or under and has an amazing fit.

Had to give a backside shot to show the cute details on the shoes. Opium Kokeshi Hocs Heels are also one of the many deals over at Acid Lily. Love to wear wedges in rl and sl. These shoes come with a color change hud, so you have options to change the shoe color too!

Loving the Beach!

Who doesn’t love a day at the beach? Plus I’ve been experimenting with SL shadows since I upgraded my graphics card, and I think they are especially cool with background elements such as trees.

I found this adorable mesh pink and white dress from Acid Lily. Because I have to be honest, I love the color pink. It was under 70L too…so even better!

Acid Lily: A New Fashion Showcase has Come to Town!

Brand new fashion showcase is in town! I was invited for a sneak peek to Acid Lily’s first collection. What is Acid Lily? It’s a one stop shop featuring talented SL designer’s exlusive items and new releases! By the way…nothing in the showcase is over 70L! They’ll be having new designers each week, and the private viewing is held on July 16 and 17, but once its doors open to the public …I would get there quick! Here is a quick preview of only some of the items there. OMG..I ♥ to shop and Acid Lily had so many new designers, for me at least, it was a total treat.

This mini dress comes in other colors, and it’s so nicely done! It’s mesh, so hope you have your mesh eyes on 😀

Speaking of One Voice, I’m sure we all have heard of their fight to help Curio designer Gala Phoneix, and it is really refreshing to me to see the amount of support content creators have given her in her time of need. So as SL consumers, we can continue to help and go and shop and give our lindens to a worthy cause!
