I was feeling a little moody today. It’s getting colder. I live in the desert sans beach, so you can imagine my pain when I look out the window and all I see is gray. That’s actually one of the many reasons I love SL. One, I am addicted to SL (maybe love hate in this case) and two, I can change the environment in wink of an eye. I have to say goodbye to summer, but you can say hello to Digs Beaufort Sun-lounger.

It’s over at Acid Lily and it has a variety of individual and couples’ poses. I’m talking G, PG, and rated R poses too. I can’t tell you how R rated because…well, I would feel awkward doing all those by myself. However, I noted there were choices such as sex and foreplay. The weekend goes by way too fast. However, Monday doesn’t have to be blah because Acid Lily Designer’s Showcase offers us a new collection, from talented designers all across the grid, at the beginning of every week. Leri Miles Design brings vibrant colors and fun prints to this week’s showcase. I like that we can mix and match the tops and skirts. We can go with one shade or use contrasting colors. There’s many colors to choose from, so you can mix up your favorite shades.

By the way, my pose is from Zodiac! I was going to wait to go to Zodiac, because I’m a Sagittarius, but that’s awfully stubborn of me. Since most astrologists claim Taurus signs are stubborn, I figured that was a sign 😉

Happy hump day! Acid Lily’s newest showcase opened Monday, so you still have plenty of chances to find cute clothes, accessories, shapes, and skins before the weekend. DuCk or SwAn Pedra skin is a really sweet and youthful face.

The Pedra shape comes skin, but it’s no modify and I like to have a little control over my shapes. However, it fit quite nicely over the Sophia Shape, from a former Acid Lily round, and that shape is modifiable.

Kaithleen’s trousers are also available in other colors as well. In fact, Phoebe’s Hearts Necklace will go with any color you choose because it has a color menu. All items are at this week’s Acid Lily showcase.

dream analysis

Have you ever woken from a dream and wished it were real? Sometimes our real life seeps into our dreams, but I often wonder if our dreams have the potential to slip into our real life. Depending on the dream, it could be a wonderful experience or a deathtrap. If it’s good we try to hold on to that feeling.

And when we wake from a good dream, we miss that feeling. Perhaps we cry. We either cry because we were scared or we wanted our dream to be true. However, it’s good to have a friend to comfort us.

If you know me well, you’ll understand that I love fairy tales. Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorites! You can find Exposeur’s Trying to Hold on and Let There be Love at Pose Fair 2013. I’m the quirky sort, but the poses are fabulous for traditional friends or lover shots. I also wanted to use this bunny avatar. Sometimes, the only way to travel is to fly. Co*Motion’s wearable prop Night Flight allows one to soar through the skies.

Night Flight features other colors and it also comes in petite versions, so all you petite avatars can travel in whimsical style too. Of course, one should blend in when flying incognito.

c’mon let’s go!

Have you gone to Pose Fair yet? Well, come on Let’s Go! Ok that’s actually the name of the pose I’m featuring today, but seriously, if you haven’t visited Pose Fair yet, make sure to head on over especially if you’re looking for friend or group poses. Elephant Poses’ friendly “Let’s Go,” is an exclusive Pose Fair item. It came in handy because my friend Sunshine and I visited New York the other day, and I seriously had to carry her away.

Don’t worry it’s only a chalk drawing so no real vandalism occurred, but Sunshine wanted to finish her drawing. Actually, I love this sim because it gives rez rights, so it’s easy to use your own prop or pose balls and have a cool background to boot.
