Don’t you love May? I do because it’s like half summer and half spring, at least in my neck of the woods. We have the summer time heat, but the springtime showers.

Speaking of May, Designer Showcase’s May round is alive and kicking. Designer Showcase features many talented designers across the grid. Case in point, Entice has a jumpsuit, aptly called “Sweetness Follows,” for sale at Designer Showcase.

In like a lamb (lion)

In my personal life, March came in like a lion, so I hope it goes out like a lamb. My boyfriend turned fiancé is having a couple of issues. Truthfully, they are due to me, so I shouldn’t complain. 😦

His attitude, much like the weather, affects my moods. However, the beginning of March also brought Designer Showcase‘s newest range of designer goods. Mood back up. 🙂

Don’t let the sun go down on me

I’m so dramatic. Actually, I’m in a great mood! I don’t have many real life tattoos, okay I have four small tatts. The largest is one line of Latin between my shoulder blades. It’s been so long since I’ve seen it, so I can’t remember exactly how it is written, but it’s roughly translated into in darkness, there is light.

That saying always cheers me up! Shopping cheers me up too. Designer Showcase‘s January round will be gone on the 26th, so if you haven’t been there yet, head on down!

Ladies who lunch and wear white after Labor Day

While the LBD is timeless, it can get a little boring, so I love to wear white after Labor Day. Again, I’ve always lived in dry and hot climates so I don’t have to worry about really cold weather. Although I think a snowy white coat would be gorgeous! Ah well, I’ll have to stick to my winter going out staple: the LWD.

It’s really over

Summer is my favorite season! True, it’s brutally hot in Nevada, but I still love the idea of summer barbeques, swimming, and pool parties. I’m gonna miss you summer! I suppose fall is technically here, but mind you, I’m still dealing with 90 degree + weather, so forgive my fashion snafu.

“Maybe I’m the one who is the schizophrenic psycho”

I woke up on the bad hair side of the bed today. I was craving French fries smothered in cheese. As I was starving, my first plan was to buy a few groceries or at the very least hit up McDonald’s.

No? Hey. I can’t believe you gave up that easy! Come on…everyone loves a selfie right? As many of you know, it’s Second Life’s 11th birthday! While the celebration started on the 22nd, the party is still kicking until June 29th. Doc Gascoigne wants to see your faces amongst the birthday celebration! Now, taking the perfect selfie is not rocket science, but I always say go high! Camera angle high that is.

When you have your camera above your head, it slims the face. Or, perhaps my real life face is too round. At any rate, the angle works for me.

Running in heels

I have one rule when breaking in new shoes. I never break them in alone. I call it female bonding. I made the mistake of breaking in new heels with my boyfriend. He was totally unsympathetic. Since then, I grab my fellow shoe lover friend and we stamp, then hobble, together. Actually, I may have another rule that I just thought of. I do not wear heels on the Las Vegas strip anymore. I almost died that night. Second Life heels are much kinder. I climb SL mountains in heels.

I am a huge fan of sky-high wedges in real life and in Second Life. LMD’s Kassie Wedges are available at this month’s Designer Showcase, and they come in other vibrant colors. They are super cute!
