I’m in Las Vegas, so I can practically wear summer wear 9 months out of the year. Something else about Vegas? Silly games are non-stop. There’s no better way to shake it off by putting on something pretty, like 1 Hundred’s Blush Babydoll available at Designer Showcase, while I deliberate my next move. I’m actually just in love with Project Bento. Trying to demonstrate expression in SL was one of my biggest (but silent) gripes. It really is all in the face, eyes, and hands. Changing hands to suit the mood used to be high maintenance and unrealistic. Know what I mean?

See what I mean? The hands are so different. Sunshine is wearing the default Maitreya hands whereas I’m wearing Vista’s Bento hands. They both look natural, but I love how Bento poses read the hands or vice versa. Whichever it is, it works.

Now, if I could only be so animated in IRL. My signature IRL hands IRL are usually clenched. I’m telling you anxiety is a bish!

Have you gone to to see this week’s Acid Lily showcase? This week’s collection will be taken away, and a new one will take its place on Monday, so better get moving if you’d like to grab something. Speaking of grab…Co*Motion’s Pose Set Better Off Red is something worth getting if you love to play with shadows and fairy tale settings.

The pose set has a variety of poses to chose from and it’s two characters. I chose to just go traditional Little Red Riding Hood and that big bad wolf.

The prop has a light projector, so depending on your windlight setting, you can go dark and spooky or lighter fairy tale fun. I used the recommended Phototools No Light setting, so the projector is noticeable. This particular pose comes with the basket of goodies and light, or you can use your own props. Wonder what’s in my basket? I have a feeling there’s some sort of meat product due to the growling behind me…

Ooh, it’s got me! Actually, the werewolf avi, along with other types, comes in our default SL inventory. It’s a mean sucker!

But, I was able to tame the beast. Check out Co*Motion’s prop Better off Red at Acid Lily. It’s only 70L. After the weekend, you can find it at the Co*Motion main store, but it will be back to its regular price.
