It’s nice to have a nice assortment of shoes in our inventories…don’t you think? Sometimes a girl can’t run around in heels all day, so even.flow’s Saddle shoes are a nice departure. They’re non-rigged mesh, and there are other color choices to choose from at this week’s Acid Lily promo price selection. At only 65L apiece, they can add some girlish charm to any outfit you put together.

Speaking of girlish charm, I’m in love with COCO’s new mesh shirt dress and over the shoulder cardigan. I’ve been a fan of COCO for as long as I can remember and the designer’s creations are always impeccable.

LIV it up this Wednesday

Hey shopping fanatics! It’s time for all the Secret Wednesday sales. LIV-Glam’s Everyday Eloise Vintage Jacket is part of this Secret Sale and a brand new release.Featuring many shades via a color change hud, this jacket is perfect for the chilly weather and you can easily layer it with your favorite items. I paired it with a mesh long shirt and traditional white top, so while it’s up to you how you layer it…it’s nice to know you can layer it.

The invisible alpha on the dress cut out my leg in one shot, so I did use a little PS on the skirt, but the jacket is left untouched so you can see that it is possible and fun to layer your traditional SL wear and mesh. Ok…I’m sure there are more ways to have actual fun, but I love to mix and match and it really is fun for me to see how many ways something can be worn. Check it out at LIV Glam!

Have a Happy Halloween with Acid Lily!

Tomorrow marks Halloween! Actually I’m really going to miss all the Halloween items. It really is my favorite holiday because I love to play dress up. Although, in SL, we can do that year round 😉 Acid Lily’s showcase has some last-minute Halloween treats for you. Emporium’s back mesh shorts and ribcage sweater and TinRoof’s Trick or Treat are perfect for those of you who don’t like to get in full costume. In fact, both are good if you are taking your lil ones out trick or treating and don’t want to steal their limelight!

TinRoof’s Trick or Treat features mesh jeans and a traditional SL t-shirt. Oh and the cute sneakers are included! I logged on today to a note from Boudoir’s Halloween Fair and rushed to get the pumpkin heads. Too cute. At least for me. They are a bit on the scary side I realized for some today. However…that’s what Halloween is all about!

Haunted

This week kicks off a new collection over at Acid Lily Designer Showcase. In a brand new location, Acid Lily serves up loads of treats and each treat is 70L and under! Speaking of treats, I was out roaming SL and thought I would do some pre trick or treating in Bitch Tail’s Haunted Outfit. The top and skirt are made of mesh, and Haunted also includes the fishnet stockings and garters. Just in case I had to run from any ghosts or goblins, I added an additional set of garters.

It was a little chilly over at the Bay of Surreality so I added a tank top, but you can be more daring than I and wear it without. I always think asymmetric hems are good for layering. Speaking of the sim, it is hauntingly beautiful. I read all about it in Pure Eggs & Spam and knew I had to check it out. So if you are in the mood to travel, take a look for yourself. Vampires can’t see their reflections, but in SL, they can certainly see their shadows. I made that up. But isn’t the la petite morte shadow box too cool! I found this treat over at Cinema. Cinema has loads of items for the film buffs. If you’re the type who loves to go to movies, you’ll feel right at home there. Indyra Originals is also one of the designers located in the Cinema, and her Vicereine creation offers you the choice of a pantsuit, gown, or lingerie.

I wanted to pair it with Mystic Canvass Moretta skin. It’s an awesome skin for those Halloween stylings that are all the rage now. It put me in a Vampire mood, but I’m sure it has limitless stylings.
