March’s weather confuses me! First it’s windy, then it’s hot, then it’s cold and windy, and so on and so on. When I realized Pose Fair 2016 opened today, that totally brightened my day! If you don’t know, I love poses. And when I say love, I mean totally obsessed with poses. Poses give SL’ers life, ya know?

Have you ever woken up and thought that today was the day you had to make a serious change? I do all the time, and I usually go through my day as I normally do and think about changing tomorrow. This time, I woke up and did a little soul declutter.

She Lost Him

I’ve been carrying around an awful lot of doom and gloom lately. Frankly, I don’t know what brought on this turn, but I can’t say grumpy moods aren’t abnormal for me.

But Found Herself

If you want to declutter your soul, you treat it as though you’re decluttering your house, bedroom, office, closet, or anywhere you tend to toss in non-essential items. I spent the day simply enjoying the day by sitting outside in the sun with my two pups.

And Somehow That Was Everything

I didn’t think about work, school, or the laundry I needed to do. Suffice it to say, I ended up doing my laundry, but I felt insanely refreshed by forgetting the past, ignoring the future, and living in the moment.

Chasing Weiland: “It’s what made you who you were.”

Scott Weiland’s death devastated me. I grew up listening to Stone Temple Pilots. They were my first concert. In many ways, their music shaped the way I hear new music today, and, so often, a song builds my blogs.

I heard “Plush” while driving to work today, and it brought back so many memories. There is the innocent interpretation of “Plush,” and that is merely how the lyrics compel me to sing along. Have you ever heard this song while observing Karaoke? My husband sang it at my work’s holiday bash and it was a favorite!

so much depends on the weatherPerhaps, it is the connotation of trying to hide one’s true self, or one’s actions and motives, that makes others relate? This is me trying to figure myself out. It’s also an ode to my appreciation of Scott Weiland. He shall rest in peace, and I will call it a night and see what tomorrow brings.

Las Vegas Winters (What? No Snow?)

I swear my outfits go through this every winter. I’m a southwestern girl by heart, so my move from Albuquerque to Las Vegas kept me in warm winter weather. The only snow I really see is in Second Life!

Tis the Season

I’m back home! We celebrate Thanksgiving early because it’s easier to travel in the middle of November rather than the actual day. Family affairs are rough, so it’s good to be home.

Don’t get me wrong. I miss my family but once you hit a certain age, or maybe once you live on your own, staying at mom and dad’s can be difficult.

Road Trip

I’m hitting the road! tomorrow! Now, road trips are so much fun in theory, but the drive to Albuquerque isn’t the best. It’ll be good to see my family though, and luckily my husband will drive out. I just have to take care of our two rats (small Chihuahuas). That’s a fair trade. 😀
