Sneak peak? Penumbra Fashion Week Spring and Summer 2015 starts on May 16, 2015! Penumbra is a premier fashion event that showcases the newest collections by innovative, cutting edge, long-standing, and emerging Second Life’s designers. It’s actually quite the honor to be an official blogger for this event because I love SL fashion with all my heart. It’s an art and it isn’t easy! I especially love fashion that tells a story. Prey’s Cyber Chic represents the future in fashion and a story in my head.

May 5, 2015 – Today, .PENUMBRA. announced the full schedule of shows for their Spring Summer 2015 fashion week, May 16 – May 23. The week features many new elements not seen before in fashion week. Along with runway shows on weekends, mid-week shows will be trunk shows which will designs from many of the designs seen throughout the week in  a more intimate atmosphere. There is a special “Surprise” Trunk Show featuring designers who are participating in Sneak Peek.  Finally, the closing show is Bridal themed with amazing designs from some of SL’s best designers.

Don’t you love May? I do because it’s like half summer and half spring, at least in my neck of the woods. We have the summer time heat, but the springtime showers.

Getting married

I’m getting married! In real life that is. It’s my second marriage, but my first real wedding ceremony. Why oh why can’t my real self be as flawless as my avatar? I’m jealous. I know I want to wear a white dress and carry a bouquet of fresh flowers.

Sascha’s Flower Explosion probably wouldn’t work in my real life wedding, but if my real life skin was flawless, I would totally rock it!

Fashion For Change is still going strong. The two-week fashion and entertainment event raises funds for Womankind Worldwide as 50% of all proceeds go to the international women’s rights group. Styles by Danielle joins 39 other designers with her exclusive outfit Ivona in Wine.

Thrill of the Hunt

Easter weekend was a lazy time for me. I left my basket back in Albuquerque, so I decided to celebrate PurpleMoon Creations’ Dress Me Purple II Hunt instead. Tomorrow, April 10, is the last day!

Hunt

Look for the purple egg and find your treat. Did you know purple is often associated with royalty and power? Thus, all the treats are delicious pieces in all shades of purple. Also, they don’t cost one linden. Free can be both stylish and sexy. Here’s a lift to PurpleMoon.

For last minute hunters, here are the rules:

1- This hunt is free and open to public (no group membership required)
2- The object you are looking for is an egg in purple polka dot texture (like the sample pictured in the poster)
3- To receive the gift, simple TOUCH the egg!. You will be given an object that you can WEAR to UNPACK.
4- The eggs are numbered from 1 to 10.
5- There are no hints given. They are easy to find and this is more for the fun of it than anything else. They are only hidden at the GROUND LEVEL of the Main Store, no outdoors or upper level.
6- The balloons decorating the rooms are an indicator that there are purple eggs hidden in that room.

In my personal life, March came in like a lion, so I hope it goes out like a lamb. My boyfriend turned fiancé is having a couple of issues. Truthfully, they are due to me, so I shouldn’t complain. 😦

His attitude, much like the weather, affects my moods. However, the beginning of March also brought Designer Showcase‘s newest range of designer goods. Mood back up. 🙂
