So, I sat in my husband’s man cave for a bit. After sitting for a while, I starting organizing it. Mind you, I didn’t literally organize it. I just sat and wondered how I could recreate that essence of mine in my own setting.

While I have my own space, I realized I couldn’t recreate what I envision in my head without spending massive amounts of money remodeling it, so I appreciated the simplicity of my hubby’s room. It’s filled with what’s important to him. Now I need to figure out what is important to me in my room even thought it really wouldn’t match the connecting rooms.  No, I can’t think that way. Actually, I can’t stop thinking that way.

Character flaw? In my defense, it doesn’t help that the kitchen is right behind me. And the dining room is to my left. I could add my own touches to both I suppose, but kitchens and dining rooms don’t inspire me lol. Maybe I need to dare to dream.

I jest about the whining. Well, I do whine quite a bit, but time is valuable, so if one doesn’t want to hear whining, he or she can shut it off. Tonight I’m mostly whining about the end of one of my favorite SL events.

My mind is set on overdriveThat’s right. Pose Fair is over. Did you have a good time? I’m going to take a moment to give a shout out to all the pose creators. Thank you for taking the time to inject life into SL! Movement implies life and that in turn suggests emotion.Somebody keep my balanceWhile avatars are not alive, the people behind  the keyboard are most definitely living and breathing creatures. Incidentally, I’ll always remember my first experience with animation in SL. Always move forwardI actually thought the default Ruth stand was cool because it was different and it looked like a confused chick. Now, it’s kinda irritating, but only when I’m in the midst of making a pose work. I found my place in nowhereNow, look how far SL has come! I can’t imagine SL without Project Bento now, so pose makers, keep those poses coming! It’s probably (most certainly) more difficult, but know it makes all the difference, especially to those who use animated hand gestures in RL.   On my own, here we go

I have a RL friend of a RL friend who uses her hands to make every point and it’s appropriate for that friend of friend because her poker face sucks. One may call her overly animated. Poor thing. She has good intentions (I really do!).

How’d you spend Earth day? I had the best day! My physical results are the starters of a farmer sunburn (eventual tan), but there’s so much more. Sadly, emotional results are left to interpretation because they’re difficult to quantify. Just believe okay? 😉

It’s safe to say we can all agree marriage is a commitment that goes beyond a typical relationship, even long term common wealth relationships. I just realized filing taxes as a married middle class couple sucks. I miss 2016 tax filing time. Anyway, married couples do have something our common wealth counterparts do not. Weddings!

So, that’s my advice for the day. I also advise you to visit Designer Showcase and Pose Fair as soon as possible because April is going to end. We won’t see another April until next year. Weird when one thinks about it that way, eh? Speaking of Pose Fair, I thought you should know. Corpus’s Editorial poses have attitude and emotion. Manifeste is one of my oldest favorites when it comes to pose makers. They also mix fashion, emotion, and attitude. Looks like they are meant to be. 😉
