Happy hump day! Acid Lily’s newest showcase opened Monday, so you still have plenty of chances to find cute clothes, accessories, shapes, and skins before the weekend. DuCk or SwAn Pedra skin is a really sweet and youthful face.

The Pedra shape comes skin, but it’s no modify and I like to have a little control over my shapes. However, it fit quite nicely over the Sophia Shape, from a former Acid Lily round, and that shape is modifiable.

Kaithleen’s trousers are also available in other colors as well. In fact, Phoebe’s Hearts Necklace will go with any color you choose because it has a color menu. All items are at this week’s Acid Lily showcase.

It was a blast covering Pose Fair 2013! Thanks to the Hootie Cooterati Experience for allowing me to be a guest blogger, and I also wanted to say to all the pose makers–you all rock! I said it before and I’ll say it again…I think animations are what make us come alive.

dream analysis

Have you ever woken from a dream and wished it were real? Sometimes our real life seeps into our dreams, but I often wonder if our dreams have the potential to slip into our real life. Depending on the dream, it could be a wonderful experience or a deathtrap. If it’s good we try to hold on to that feeling.

And when we wake from a good dream, we miss that feeling. Perhaps we cry. We either cry because we were scared or we wanted our dream to be true. However, it’s good to have a friend to comfort us.

If you know me well, you’ll understand that I love fairy tales. Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorites! You can find Exposeur’s Trying to Hold on and Let There be Love at Pose Fair 2013. I’m the quirky sort, but the poses are fabulous for traditional friends or lover shots. I also wanted to use this bunny avatar. It’s kind of Donnie Darko-ish to me because of its steady stare and so cool. It’s a free gift at COCO’s Designs too!

it’s a beautiful life

Don’t you love the beginning of a new relationship where it seems as though everything is perfect? I do. I used to love it so much sometimes I didn’t mind when one relationship ended so I could experience that same up in the clouds feeling. I didn’t mind that much that is. However, now that I’ve been with my real life boyfriend for almost two years, I can’t imagine life without him. He makes my life beautiful. Tristan Voorhees has captured that emotion in one of his couple pose sets “Beautiful Life.”

puppy love

The K Collection at LIV Glam is always quirky and loads of fun because of her twist with prints. I love my real life pup, and he’s a different type of cute (reindeer chihuahua), but the fashionista pup on the Maya outfit is just as cute in his own way.

It’s funny because I never was a dog person in real life. I loved cats, but after my real life kitty died, I couldn’t get another. Instead, my Milo kitty cat lives on in Second Life. Don’t get me wrong though because I would still rock a shirt in my rl and my sl that had my former cat Milo in his big furry glory. Regardless of what type of pet you own…animals are inherently good. They love us unconditionally, so show your love for animals and pick up the Maya outfit k?
