My last post was on January 7th. Two days later I lost my Annabelle. One of the hardest decisions of pet parents is when to let their cherished babies go. My vet told me her kidney levels were high in October. She lost 2 pounds. We eliminated one of her heart meds to reduce the impact on her weakened kidneys. Annabelle charged through the holiday season as though she was on a mission, but her time ran out.
We were with her as she transferred over to a new dimension without pain and, as I like to imagine it, beautiful gardens with glorious flowers and neverending blue skies. One of Annabelle’s favorite pastimes was walking through a jungle of flowers and soaking up warmth from the sun. My heart is broken without her. RIP my sweet baby girl.
