Diggin’ the Skating Queen

Co*Motion has a cool pose set available over at Acid Lily! It’s the Ice Skating Queen Basic Set. The set of five poses costs 69L, and if you love to create dramatic photos that mimic movement, I think you’ll find this set to your liking.

It’s Monday, so you know what that means? Besides the beginning of yet another week. It’s time for the newest collection over at Acid Lily. Acid Lily is a weekly showcase that features old and new SL designers and their creations, and usually the designers will create exclusive items for Acid Lily. Dirty Little Secret’s Star Trench is one of those exclusive pieces. It’s made of mesh and is 70L. Actually, all items at Acid Lily are 70L or under.

Also, Fiend has a cute pair of mesh ankle boots. See above 😉 The 70L boots come in small, medium, and large. I can never have too many shoes! I was also dying to play with a rain tutorial I found online. I use PS, and the tutorial was easy to follow. Enough of my photo play. Head on down to Acid Lily, and get your hands on some goods. This is so not a political endorsement! It was just a good night to stay in and watch TV. My TV wasn’t working today…bad signal? Actually, I love this prop from Glitterati and I thought it suited the occasion out in the USA. Anyway, I will endorse Acid Lily! The new round came out on Monday, and loads of new goods. Every item is 70L and under, and if you love to shop and get deals, it’s worth the trip.

MoYaz’s mesh Mia jeans and Pia tank top are the perfect items to lounge in. I added a sweater, but it’s a bit chilly nowadays. You can find the Mia skinny jeans in two colors. I’m wearing the destroyed blue. We all look at how our bottoms look in jeans, and these jeans are actually a nice fit, if you like a curvy and sculpted looking rear. I do! Beats doing rl squats any day. Right?

It’s nice to have a nice assortment of shoes in our inventories…don’t you think? Sometimes a girl can’t run around in heels all day, so even.flow’s Saddle shoes are a nice departure. They’re non-rigged mesh, and there are other color choices to choose from at this week’s Acid Lily promo price selection. At only 65L apiece, they can add some girlish charm to any outfit you put together.

Speaking of girlish charm, I’m in love with COCO’s new mesh shirt dress and over the shoulder cardigan. I’ve been a fan of COCO for as long as I can remember and the designer’s creations are always impeccable.

Vampires can’t see their reflections, but in SL, they can certainly see their shadows. I made that up. But isn’t the la petite morte shadow box too cool! I found this treat over at Cinema. Cinema has loads of items for the film buffs. If you’re the type who loves to go to movies, you’ll feel right at home there. Indyra Originals is also one of the designers located in the Cinema, and her Vicereine creation offers you the choice of a pantsuit, gown, or lingerie.

I wanted to pair it with Mystic Canvass Moretta skin. It’s an awesome skin for those Halloween stylings that are all the rage now. It put me in a Vampire mood, but I’m sure it has limitless stylings. WoW the Arcade!

I’ve been wanting to blog about WoW’s Star Skin over a week! It’s an adorable skin and this version is over at Acid Lily until tomorrow (Sunday) and then it’s no longer at a promo price. It comes with cleavage or without, and the quality is awesome.

The clothes are whole different story. I finally wore down and went to the Arcade. You know…the Gacha event! I think I have an addictive personality, and I had a feeling I would go there until I got exactly what I wanted. I totally surprised myself! I told myself I would try to come up with an outfit for the Wow’s Star, and I would have to make it work no matter what I got. I ended up getting a cute and casual outfit! The cardigan, purse, ring, scarf, and hair all complemented each other! And I only hit each machine once. Cheers to conquering an addictive personality!

Speaking of addictive, I think SL will have to create an Arcade Anonymous because I briefly joined the group and loads of people are feverishly trying to get their hands on certain items. I did see a few colors and choices that I thought would be cool, but I’m going for the willpower thing. Just in case, I had a chat with the Pelican that sat outside. He or she was a thoughtful listener and I confessed my fears. I always feel better after a confession…probably because I was raised Catholic?

I may have other issues if I confess to birds, but anyway..the Arcade is actually a lot of fun, so if you can handle it, go on down. You may happen upon one of those rare items 😉

Acid Lily and a Hot Tin Roof

Tin Roof’s dress Chevy is a sunny little piece for the last hot days of the year. It’s made of mesh and has a variety of sizes to choose from. It also comes with the open toe pumps that have a light toe and a dark toe version. However, they aren’t modifiable so you can’t match your skin tone perfectly. I shot my picture with ultra graphics and regular midday windlights; it’s a raw snapshot, so you can see the light version toes.

The dress shape is way cute though and the shadows are nicely done. It’s steal of a price located at Acid Lily’s Fashion Showcase until the rest of this week.
