Have you ever woken from a dream and wished it were real? Sometimes our real life seeps into our dreams, but I often wonder if our dreams have the potential to slip into our real life. Depending on the dream, it could be a wonderful experience or a deathtrap. If it’s good we try to hold on to that feeling.

And when we wake from a good dream, we miss that feeling. Perhaps we cry. We either cry because we were scared or we wanted our dream to be true. However, it’s good to have a friend to comfort us.

If you know me well, you’ll understand that I love fairy tales. Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorites! You can find Exposeur’s Trying to Hold on and Let There be Love at Pose Fair 2013. I’m the quirky sort, but the poses are fabulous for traditional friends or lover shots. I also wanted to use this bunny avatar. It’s kind of Donnie Darko-ish to me because of its steady stare and so cool. It’s a free gift at COCO’s Designs too!

Ok…I couldn’t resist, so I had to give a sneak preview! I was so happy when the Hottie Cooterati Experience accepted my application to be a blogger for Pose Fair 2013 because I really love Second Life animations. Grafica’s Marionetta Poses are especially fitting for my first Pose Fair contribution since we are master manipulators…of our avis at least. 😉 Doll Whether we are full bodied avatars or a doll like shell, poses make us come alive because they have the ability to capture our movement and tell a story.

Gorgeous clothes, hair, skin, and accessories give our avatars beauty, but poses give our three dimensional dolls life and allow us to portray our second lives or what only exists in our dreams.

How to be a Girly-Girl

Acid Lily has a hunt AND awesome deals for you this week. The Spring is Near Hunt is still in full swing, but you only have a couple more days to take a look at this week’s designer collection. I must confess. I don’t normally wear jackets, but the Spearsong Smokers Jacket is seriously girly.

I’m wearing the Floral version, but there are other prints at Acid Lily. It’s not just the floral print that makes this jacket so feminine. It’s the cut. It’s a slim cut and hugs the body, so it accentuates a woman’s delicate curves. I love it!

The weather is getting nice, at least in my part of the world, but it’s always warm and sunny in SL, so get some warm weather goodies during Acid Lily’s Spring is Near hunt. The hunt kicked off today, and all the items have to do with springtime. LavandaChic offers the cutest little dress ever.

I was really trying to finish this post up before my midnight…ah well! Anyway, It’s a new week at Acid Lily! Blow Up the Outside World

Pardon the title of this post! I was listening to Soundgarden as I played with my picture. “Blow Up the Outside World” is such a moody song, but it’s one of my favorites because I think it’s hauntingly beautiful.

However, the reason for this post is to show Kaithleen’s Mesh Corset. It’s one of the goodies over at Acid Lily.

Corsets remind me of darker times when women were hardly able to breathe. No problem in SL though. You can find this corset for 69L at Acid Lily. It’s got a beautiful fit and offers standard sizes.

I’ve noticed with some corsets, I have to really adjust my breasts, but this one wasn’t a problem at all. Will it be that way for everyone? Don’t know, but the texture is really lovely. Check it out at Acid Lily.
