Sometimes, my husband doesn’t get it. While I’m glad he’s motivated, I still have to live for myself. Do I make the best decisions all time? Nope. Such is life. Life isn’t black and white, but I do love the contrast of black and white.

August 22nd brings the most indulgent event of the year. The The Hottie Cooterati Experience revealed, “The Festival of Sin returns with a promise of debauchery in the form of the seven deadliest sins.” While I’ve been known to partake in a sin or two (or three), Greed struck home. Since moving to Las Vegas aka Sin City, sins run abound, but Greed is especially noticeable due to the giant casinos and the sheer amount of cash flow and desperation to hit it big.  I mean…there are slot machines inside Smith’s Grocery Store, CVS, and most gas stations!

Live and Let Die

When you hit the festival, you’ll find that seven neighborhoods symbolize each deadly sin. I actually loved walking around. Wrath was seedy and dirty. See the jail.  Lust was Moulin Rogue style where a newbie avatar dummy propositioned me. Envy reminded me of a white picket fence neighborhood, but the type of neighbors who secretly hate one another. I could go on and on, but you’ll have to see it for yourself. Make sure to hit Greed for the
Gacha machines and gift shop. While we all know Gacha machines are a gamble, the gift store has all kinds of free goodies.

What does it matter to ya?

The Festival of Sin opens tomorrow. Now, if you’re going to sin...you gotta do it well.  Join The Hottie Cooterati Experience group inworld for the 12 pm TP on August 22.  Group members always get first notice for any sponsored events. Live large and have fun. 😉

Love Contests? Name that pose!

My summer’s been flying by! I really wanted to post about this earlier because I love contests. If you’re interested in entering, you still have time but don’t wait too long because time’s almost up for Razmataz’s July Photo Contest! The winner gets the entire package of the Moni poses for free, a custom pose made by Melonie Romano, the winner’s photo in store and Marketplace, as well as a video of this pose on Flickr.

Sascha Frangilli knows romance, so I thought her gown Issy was particularly symbolic for today’s post. It’s my 18th-day wedding anniversary! No, I don’t go that far, but real life marriage rocks! My husband and I had been friends before we dated, and I don’t know if that makes the difference, but it does imply my former relationships’ foundations were rocky.

In fact, I imagine many of our former friends believed we wouldn’t last because quite a few probably thought I was crazy. But hey, when a boyfriend thrives on chaos, it’s best to just play along. It’s nice to know those days are over.

My new husband thrives on love, teamwork, friendship, and laughter. It doesn’t get any better, so I’ve officially retired my “crazy” card. This post may read as sickeningly sweet, but that’s only because it is sickeningly sweet. 😉

Second Life is 12 years old! Can you believe it? While the celebratory events are over, the sims are open until July 4. There are some beautiful exhibits and the stages are always particularly fun to explore. What secret crooks and crannies will you find?

Designer Showcase July 2015

I found a raptor. Much like Jurassic World, this raptor appears to have socialization skills and subsequently is trainable lol. I really did enjoy movie. It’s good campy fun, but the Party Raptor was a limited edition gift! I found it at the celebration while roaming around last week, but you can always try Marketplace!
