I’m so so so sleepy! Another holiday down. I made sure to have an awesome Thanksgiving just in case the world does end in December (I don’t think it will…at least I hope not :p). Hope all of you in the states had a wonderful Thanksgiving too! Or are you already gearing up and ready for Black Friday sales? Some equally good deals await you in SL too! Sassy’s Poet blouse is actually cropped, so you can bare a bit of tummy. After Thanksgiving’s dinner, well that was the last thing I needed, so LIV Glam’s Winter 2012 Rhino pants were the perfect thing to add.

The pants are part of this Thursday’s 55L sale, and it’s a complete outfit, so check it out. Acid Lily’s collection will be changing soon, so might want to head down there as well. It’s a fabulous shop that changes its rotation weekly, so always something new. Happy shopping!

It’s Thanksgiving break for USA universities, but SL university is never out! even.flow captures school spirit and virtual world spirit with their mesh Varsity jacket. Tis the season for boots! I’m seriously a summer girl, but I do love the trends the cooler seasons bring. LIV Glam’s Stella Envy Boots remind me of comfy socks that add height, but they’re actually boots that are versatile and super cute. The two-tone colors are possible with the color change hud. The shin is a lighter shade and the texture is beautifully shaded, so it’s like cozy slouchy socks worn with pumps. In other words, it’s like having your cake and eating it too 😉

Yeah…that’s where my title comes from, and Marie Antoinette supposedly said that, but I am a fan of comfy and glam all at once. I’m also wearing one of LIV Glam’s newer releases. The Alice dress comes in different shades and varies in patterns. Can you imagine a title that read off with her head! Yikes. Both Alice and Stella Envy boots are mesh, so try out a demo here.

Even.flow’s Yingythingy is a well read avi! Her Bookworm collection represents all your favorite classics, and maybe one that isn’t a classic per say, but who doesn’t love Stephen King? The cute little mesh dress features an argyle print and the dresses come in a variety of shades. I’m showing Little Women and The Raven.

Bookworm’s style allows you to layer with shirts or stockings. After all, it is a bit chilly out. Actually it’s the perfect weather to curl up with a good book! MoYaz at Acid Lily

MoYaz has two super cute and comfy mesh dresses at Acid Lily this week. I couldn’t decide on which one to feature, so I just decided to show both. The Autumn Flower Beau Mesh dress has all your warm fall colors rolled into one spectacular print.

The Black Temptation Beau is equally cute but in gray-scale tones with subtle mauve undertones. I paired the dresses with MoYaz’s basic collection leggings in brown and black, also at Acid Lily this week.

They gave me a Southwestern vibe, so I had to pick up Barnesworth Anubis’s Marrakesh Oasis for my shots. I’m actually in the SW in real life, but we don’t have palm trees in my particular region. If you adore the alternative fashion SL has to offer, Love Cats has a variety of fantasy apparel, and their Savage Fae is an earthy fairy costume that is deliciously sexy.

It’s a complete outfit and is available at Acid Lily until this upcoming Sunday for 70L. There are four colors to choose from, but I chose brown to go along with my Mother Earth theme.

This ensemble also includes the jewelry and wings. Don’t the wings look so soft? I’m notoriously afraid of butterflies in RL (yeah lol), but I love wings in SL.

Love Layers

This time of year, the weather is so fickle in my part of the world. It’s hot one moment and chilly the next. Often dressing in layers is a way to combat indecisive weather. LIV Glam’s Metradamo is a chic design that keeps dressing in layers in mind. It comes with a sheer top and crop jacket ( I added the bow tie from another LIV Glam ensemble), and mesh balloon shorts.

Love the gorgeous hues. The shorts are a nice change from skirts too. In addition, it’s part of this Secret Wednesday Sale, so it’s only 49L! Here’s a lift to LIV Glam so you can partake in this week’s sale.

This is so not a political endorsement! It was just a good night to stay in and watch TV. My TV wasn’t working today…bad signal? Actually, I love this prop from Glitterati and I thought it suited the occasion out in the USA. Anyway, I will endorse Acid Lily! The new round came out on Monday, and loads of new goods. Every item is 70L and under, and if you love to shop and get deals, it’s worth the trip.

MoYaz’s mesh Mia jeans and Pia tank top are the perfect items to lounge in. I added a sweater, but it’s a bit chilly nowadays. You can find the Mia skinny jeans in two colors. I’m wearing the destroyed blue. We all look at how our bottoms look in jeans, and these jeans are actually a nice fit, if you like a curvy and sculpted looking rear. I do! Beats doing rl squats any day. Right?

I felt all about business today! Actually someone remarked I looked l professional while wearing LIV Glam’s Fall 2012 Siviglia Outfit, and I have to agree! It’s going to be part of this Wednesday’s Secret Sale too. Love a good sale!

It’s a combination of mesh and traditional sl clothes. I love that designers use both elements because each have their positives. Underneath the mesh sweater is a beautifully textured bodice.

The high-waisted pants are mesh as well, so you need to have a viewer that allows you to add rather than wear 😉 Check out the Siviglia outfit at Wednesday’s Secret Wednesday Sale!
