It’s another Acid Lily Monday, and this one made me feel like watching butterflies. Actually, Candy Metal’s and Spearsong’s (SS) long maxi skirt and dress made me feel  comfortably dreamy. Also, Candy Metal has a skin to try. The Flor skin is available in four shades and it’s the perfect skin for those hot summer days because, as the name implies, it doesn’t have a heavy makeup.

Theme: “Looking Forward, Looking Back” Ten Years of Second Life

Photographs submitted by the second life community should illustrate SL10 theme “Looking Forward, Looking Back” over the past 10 years. Deadline for the contest: June 6th 2013.

Rules:
– Submit a maximum of two photographs per avatar name
– Photos must NOT show the SL10B Community Celebration regions
– Explore the virtual world of second life community for the perfect picture that represents
the theme.
– Pictures must be posted in the flickr group “SL10B Community Celebration Photo Contest.”
– Competitors must indicate whether the photograph is Category A (using only the tools
available within the browser) or Category B (using tools outside the viewer, such as photo
editing software).
– SL10B Celebration Team reserve the rights to use photograph submissions for event advertisement.
– Photos must be PG, make it family friendly keep it clean and FUN or risk disqualification.
– No text on photos.

Happy Memorial Day! How did you celebrate? As many of you know, the United States honors all the men and women who died while serving for our country on Memorial Day. Today also marks the start of the summer season! Speaking of summer, that means it’s bathing suit weather. The super cute Hello Sailor swimsuit by Magritta has a ton of vintage flair. It comes with the shoes and an easy to use skin and nail hud, the little sailor hat, and prop life preservers.

I love this print so much that I threw on a tan! As most of Sam’s creations, Liv Glam’s Fenyang Print Dress comes with a color change hud, so if you aren’t feeling the orange like I did, you can change 😉 However, orange and tangerines are such cheerful summer time colors, but, then again, the other shades via the hud are too.
