I’ve been in SL for a little over 14 years. Damn. When I first started I was in my early 20’s and now I’m in my 30’s. Crazy. The lure of SL is still so appealing to me but for very different reasons now that I’m older. In the beginning, I toyed with modeling. I moved on to blogging, but my blogging was sporadic. It depended on my mood and what music I was listening to at the time, which was a LOT of Taylor Swift. Sorry, not sorry dear reader. My goal this year is to blog more often, return to the diary style (with music, duh), and find new designers and pose creators. After all, it’s why I’m still here.

Tonight marks the end of this year’s Rock Your Rack 2023, and it ends with a message. Check your boobies. I’ve been fortunate to see my favorite artist in RL several times this year. Do you know who else I’m looking forward to seeing? The Def Leppard Tribute Concert! I saw them last year and I was amazed by their talent! This year I took advantage of checking out the stage before they perform at Rock Your Rack 2023. I’m so excited! They perform opening day on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 6 pm to 9 pm SLT.

Okay, my SL bod isn’t that voluptuous and my skin is pale (sorry Malibu Barbie, but I did go blonde!), but wasn’t diversity the point of the movie Barbie? I LOVE Kennedy Fairlane’s creation because who doesn’t want to be a Barbie? It’s a limited edition piece and you’ll find it at Rock Your Rack 2023. Presented by Models Giving Back Rock Your Rack is an annual fundraising event combining the best of SL Music, Art, Dance, and Fashion to support the work of breast cancer charities and raise awareness for early detection which is critical to a positive outcome for this devastating disease.

Of course, it’s pink. Barbiecore lives on! I escaped my box and now I’m a real Barbie.
