So I’m reading clips from the first presidential debate, and it’s scary. Typically, I vote Democrat, but I am not opposed to voting outside of my selected party. Considering I’m not well versed in politics, I’m not trying to start a fight, but oh my gosh…if one was going strictly by that debate, America only has one reasonable choice, and that’s the scary part.

When I first heard of Donald Trump’s plans to run for president, I told my hubby we had to get ready to vote for either Hilary Clinton or Trump in the end. Seriously, lol, I thought there was a secret campaign in that there was no campaign. Instead, Trump would be a hot mess, and there was no other choice but to vote Clinton, but the government was in on it. I know social media is a mainstay, so I can appreciate candidates using it as a platform, but damn, can you imagine if Trump was president and one of his Twitter wars led to World War III? Okay, that probably wouldn’t happen lol, but who knows anymore. =:-O

If you aren’t into the Zodiac, you’ll probably moan and groan after my next statement. I love that I’m a Sagittarius! It’s a fire sign, of course! Whenever I am uncooperative (restless, unrealistic, superficial, or lose my verbal filter), I play the Sagittarius card.

Glitter Swank

I used to own the best book called Darkside Zodiac. I traded it for Frida Kahlo’s autobiography, and I don’t know why. I was going to replace my old book, but I just found out there’s a new edition. Since it’s called Blame Your Planet: A Wicked Astrological Tour Through the Darkside of the Zodiac, it sounds like it’s right up my alley.

You got me. Yes, I live in Las Vegas, so I’m not necessarily living in the upper east side of New York, but I do love to mix my quotes. Also, I’m the Marcia ‘fucking’ Brady of the I think it’s Clark County or Spring Valley part of Vegas didn’t have the same ring. Enough of my rant.

Day's dawning, skins crawling

Shine Messner, Glitter designer, started creating poses and, as some of you know, I love SL poses. When I dabbled in SL modeling, I looked for poses that were fluid for the runway. I think Shine’s poses have a graceful ballerina fluidity, so some may find them too slow for the runway, but sometimes we don’t need to snap to impress…okay, just a tad more rant.

Sometimes my co-workers boggle my mind. The interpersonal relationships in an office alone are enough to make a fake optimistic tap out.  If that’s your cruel intention…checkmate.

“And Somehow That Was Everything”

Have you ever woken up and thought that today was the day you had to make a serious change? I do all the time, and I usually go through my day as I normally do and think about changing tomorrow. This time, I woke up and did a little soul declutter.

She Lost Him

I’ve been carrying around an awful lot of doom and gloom lately. Frankly, I don’t know what brought on this turn, but I can’t say grumpy moods aren’t abnormal for me.

But Found Herself

If you want to declutter your soul, you treat it as though you’re decluttering your house, bedroom, office, closet, or anywhere you tend to toss in non-essential items. I spent the day simply enjoying the day by sitting outside in the sun with my two pups.

And Somehow That Was Everything

I didn’t think about work, school, or the laundry I needed to do. Suffice it to say, I ended up doing my laundry, but I felt insanely refreshed by forgetting the past, ignoring the future, and living in the moment.
