Waking up with Acid Lily Style

I love early mornings in real life, at least when I have had at least 8 hours of sleep (otherwise I sulk). I like to wake up slowly and lounge in comfy, yet adorable, outfits. I found the sweetest strapless corset and shorts at Acid Lily! . Acid Lily is a brand new fashion gallery and filled with amazing outfits for great prices. Nothing is over 70L!

The mesh shorts and top come in 3 colors, and you could totally dress it up or dress it down, like I did. I love its cut and the stripes on the shorts are too cute! The other shorts are solid colors, so if you don’t care for stripes like I do, you have other choices.

Acid Lily: A New Fashion Showcase has Come to Town!

Brand new fashion showcase is in town! I was invited for a sneak peek to Acid Lily’s first collection. What is Acid Lily? It’s a one stop shop featuring talented SL designer’s exlusive items and new releases! By the way…nothing in the showcase is over 70L! They’ll be having new designers each week, and the private viewing is held on July 16 and 17, but once its doors open to the public …I would get there quick! Here is a quick preview of only some of the items there. OMG..I ♥ to shop and Acid Lily had so many new designers, for me at least, it was a total treat.

This mini dress comes in other colors, and it’s so nicely done! It’s mesh, so hope you have your mesh eyes on 😀

Speaking of One Voice, I’m sure we all have heard of their fight to help Curio designer Gala Phoneix, and it is really refreshing to me to see the amount of support content creators have given her in her time of need. So as SL consumers, we can continue to help and go and shop and give our lindens to a worthy cause! According to Curio Online , she has met her goal, but legal battles are costly and since she devoted her talents to SL, we can continue to support her in any way possible. Chasing Alice

Collabor88 has plenty of new items out, and I fell in love with this dress from Schadenfredue. Once I put it on, I felt like a fairy tale heroine. Perhaps it reminded me of Alice in Wonderland because of the cute bow on back and girly silhouette. I always wanted to be like Alice! I’m wearing the dress in Bisque, but I saw that there were two other colors available as well. The matching shoes are also for sale, and they are so dainty, I had just had to get them!

Switching it Up: A Purple Moon Mix and Match

I recently won an honorable mention for my entries in PurpleMoon’s styling challenge, and Poulet Koenkamp offered me, and three other fabulous stylists, a chance to be a part of the PM team! PM gave me the choice to be a store model or a blogger, and since I decided to spend more of my time blogging sl goodies, I chose to be an official PM blogger. Yay! 😀 I had such a good time mixing and matching PM items, so I decided to do it again. I love the Arisu Pants and the Kelly Gown bodice, especially the back! Here’s what I came up with 😀

I have a tendency to purchase different houses. Most are skyboxes because I love my privacy. Some I love and keep up for a while and some I put up and take down after a couple of days. Even though this is our virtual life, I think we should feel comfy in the place we call home. I think I found my new home at collabor88! BarnesworthAnubis made a truly delicious skybox, Stockholm Attic Skybox. The details are amazing and it is just so cozy! You have the option to purchase the skybox sans furniture, but I went ahead and got the whole deal because the price was right. I don’t use sl furniture that often, so if you really like to chill on a couch or bed, you may find it a bit limited for your tastes. However, for my tastes and my sl life, it was perfect. I used a standard sit from my AO for the bed shot, but I really wanted to get a view of the window behind me.

I feel like nesting lol. Time to add some of my own stuff and decorate 😉

Starving!

Today I woke up starving for something new! As soon as the traffic died down, I headed over to faMESHed and found a few tasty treats. Mesh is so popular now, and faMESHed is a monthly event that features all that is mesh. Needless to say, I dropped some lindens there, but I absolutely adore mesh. Sometimes it seems it only looks really good when we are standing still, but it’s still relatively new for some designers, so I predict all those little glitches will disappear.

I love maxi skirts and casual tanks, so this outfit was perfect for my preferred styling. I found out it doesn’t work that well when walking or with shoes, but that may be because I was too lazy to dig up some shoes. Oops! Seriously the skirt doesn’t look quite right when walking, but it is such a pretty design, I’m content to just stand there and look cute 😛

I finally rezzed the Palm Springs skybox\house that I found from collabor88. I don’t particularly like SL furniture, so my little skybox is bare. However it suits my needs if I need a place to style an outfit 😉 I once walked into a couple having sex on my furniture, so I refuse to furnish any home lol. Here is a little peek at the box.
