When I first heard about Second Life, I must admit I was skeptical. I wondered why would people devote time to a virtual life instead of their real life? I originally downloaded for a real life university class, and after the class was over, I started to investigate the virtual world of Second Life. I immediately was drawn to the fashion world. I attended my first fashion show, and as I sat in the audience and watched the beautifully dressed and styled avatars walk the runway I decided that I wanted to be a Second Life model. It is a passion. I found that although Second Life is not real our emotions are, and if I can keep that passion in my virtual life perhaps I will learn how to keep that passion in my real life. Time will only tell for both, but it is always time to move, to grow, and to evolve.
